Re: Article on SLCapex
Actually I wrote back to the author about the second article, because there are many things that are factually incorrect. I hope she makes corrections to it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but to give outright false statements about me or what has happened here is just not ethical.

Re: Article on SLCapex
Mr. Arnaud:

Like I said before, the article is riddled with inaccurate statements. Real names are already listed in Company Info pages, when provided. No, I don't require a "notarized copy of drivers licenses" to be a CEO here. And considering all the past fraud here and failed companies in the past, I don't see how that helped at all.

As for an answer to your question, if a CEO "disappears" there really isn't much the exchange can do. That is why we are careful who we allow as a CEO these days. If you look at the first 50 companies listed on this exchange, only 4 remain today. I think things are much more stable now since I took over than they were from when you actively bought here.

You have chosen to sell everything, and that's your right. I hope one day you'll change your mind and come back and invest with the exchange - I'm trying very hard to make this a better place. Thanks for your comments.

Re: EARN IPO 77% Sold For Over L$2,800,000!
Try 97.1% sold out in 6 1/2 days :-) Only L$111,000 to go at this point. I fully expect the IPO to sell out on Monday. Great job Glaznah.

EARN IPO Sold Out - Now On Trading Floor!
Wow.

Earn2Life.com's IPO has sold out in less than 7 days. That's L$3,750,000 with 1,500,000 shares, spread out over almost 200 shareholders. Congratulations to EARN CEO Glaznah Gassner on this amazing accomplishment, and my personal thanks to all that have bought EARN shares.

For those of you that weren't able to purchase EARN IPO shares, have no fear: you can now buy them on the open market. Trading has begun - so place your buy orders now :-)

When I first told people we were planning on doing an IPO for L$3,750,000, and it would sell out within 2 weeks, I was called crazy. Well it sold out in less than 1 week, and I'm not really surprised at all (or crazy). People are believing again in Capital Exchange, and it's a sign that SL finance is alive and kicking strong. I believe in the ability of virtual companies here to be strong and pay from profits - and I know I'm not alone.

Stay tuned for more great companies doing IPO's in the very near future, and thanks again to everyone that is helping make this all come together.

Re: Article on SLCapex
Sparhawke:

She's an armchair quarterback giving her negative opinion looking in from the outside, who doesn't have a clue how we operate here, and who thinks she knows everything there is to know about tax law and finance. She even tried to tell me at times that what we do is here considered "barter" and that we all could be reporting Linden income in the game on our US taxes (even if we don't cash out to a real currency). Yeah, OK. We all know that's not going to happen. If I cash out to US$ more than I buy into SL in a calendar year, I will absolutely be putting that as income on my taxes. But reporting a Linden profit? Absurd.

Anyways, she had her say. Now let's all just move on and be positive :-)
