Re: why is it falling??
The term you need to learn is.....
dollar averaging

When you buy a good stock..
and the stock price goes down..

Buy more at the lower price..
and your average price per share
improves..

If this seems to risky for you,
then you should have your money
in a savings and loan..

Re: Update Requests
Arbitrage

Definately need Average price of all shares owned!!

When you buy a undervalued stock,
and the price goes down,
Many investors will buy more..

the REAL price per share is the average
price of all shares owned..

When the investor needs to rediversify
they need to know the REAL price, in order
to set their sell price and garantee a profit..

make sense?

Kill the commision Cap..
If SLCX is not profiting from

The 2.5% Commission. combined with the100L max
gives all the profits to the sellers selling the 20K+ blocks of shares. The same ones driving the price down..

At least this is what I got from The statement....

"Even though the commission is 2.5%, the cap of 100L max commission equates to about an overall commission rate of about 1%"

Do the larger investors deserve a higher percentage of profit??
I swallowed the Commission increase because I have bought
SLCX, ans assumed that meant higher profits for SLCX.

To learn that the profit is being taken from the small
investors, and given to the large investors REALLY chaps
my hide...

Kill the CAP

Re: Kill the commision Cap..
Yeah great the big investors get a smaller margin
But the small investors are cut out..

Of course that is great if you are a big investor..

Re: Kill the commision Cap..
There is another issue though..

You have just created a new breed of daytrader...

They put a massive sell order say of 100000.. at .40

Then sit there and buy every little sell order that comes
up below them.... as they slowly sell off their 100k
in the end, even if they buy every share at .39,
they end up with 102307 shares..

Because you do not charge the same commission on
buy and sell, you don't see them using this loophole..

The lower they drive the price, the faster they turn their
profit...
