| Alive and kicking, prepping for the big day, wish me luck all. Looks like drama in the news, not surprised after all I've seen. | ||

| Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. Just checked in on things. Nothing critical seems to be up so I'm back to enjoying our little mini-vacation. See you guys in a few days. | ||

| Hey folks. Thank you for all your patience during what has been a very significant change in myself and my beloved's life. I am back at home and will be posting financial data within the next few days. Some great news. Jasper Tizzy didn't hold up his part of the bargain, but The Rock Insurance did. I want to thank Eliale Morigi for holding true on his certificates and backing the 25K in deposits we had insured with good trust and faith. The Rock fully reimbursed our losses to The Bank. A little safety net goes a long way in this environment. |

| That said, we actually did profit on the The Bank deal since they paid us1-2 months of interest before their collapse and we had no deposit loss. | ||

Dragon Global Diversified Public Forum » dividends... Re: dividends... |
|
| Kailen would be correct. The first two dividends came during a boom performance in the market. Market's not been performing as well the past few months with several bank failures and I'd much rather back the value of the corporate shares in hard linden in case something more devastating impacted the economy. Dividends are great, but they typically result in lost share value for a nullified gain unless there is expectation of growth. However, if you continue to grow existing reserves the value is always in the stock unless the market does something foolish, in which case the CEO can opt to move in to support the price. As the reserve grows, the support levels rise and eventually, once investment costs are covered, the prices with it beyond their original value. |

| And to correct folks, I've paid 2 dividends in the times the market was more robust and I had unexpected performances out of the company holdings. | ||
