you created in a short time a "new BSF" and this without an IPO :-)
I know that was a long way with many hard work from yourself. For myself I can only say thank you, not more not less, but hey.... a virtuell blowing kiss is ok

Now the time comes, we could see how the BSF is working for us investors :-)

News Story: Legal Insanity Architecture (LIA) Is Added To The CapEx Beta Stock F http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/7928
Due to the negative circumstances surrounding Galaxy Corporation (GXY), I am removing the 76,800 shares of GXY as an investment of BSF, and adding 48,000 shares of Legal Insanity Architecture. Since the original GXY shares were purchased for L$48,000, as were the L$48,000 in LIA shares, it's an equal swap in my eyes. No cost for this stock swap will happen for the fund. In addition, L$4,320.00 will be added towards dividends for May which represent dividends collected since I purchased the LIA shares at their Initial Public Offering of stock (IPO) a few months ago.

I feel this stock swap will greatly enhance both the value of the CapEx Beta Stock Fund, as well as dividends paid to BSF shareholders in the long run. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks for being a part of the CapEx Beta Stock Fund.

Yes, I think this is the best policy that will allow me to add companies to the fund to expand dividends for the future, but it will result in less immediate dividends. We'll see how things work out, and if so I'm going to do this with all the funds in the future. Thanks.

Lemus Investments (LEM) has been delisted, and the CEO has made a buyback/liquidation payment to all LEM shareholders. This means that a total of L$154,745.12 was made to the CapEx Beta Stock Fund for LEM shares held by BSF. The original BSF investment was L$48,000, so this means that there was a huge profit from the initial LEM stock buy!

Recently a similar situation occurred where an investment made brought in an incredibly high return of lindens, and I paid it all out as part of the next dividend. Some criticized me for not helping the funds grow in value, so I have decided to take some past advice and suggestions, and change the CapEx Stock Fund policy slightly to help BSF grow in value when possible.

Instead of using just L$48,000 to buy shares of Hostcrate (HCS) I previously bought at their IPO for future CapEx Stock Fund use like this, I'm also going to use L$48,000 from the LEM stock sale proceeds to add 48,000 shares of IMBROKERS Inc. (IMBR) previously purchased. This means that L$96,000 will go towards stock purchases, and L$58,745.12 will be added towards the April dividend payment. This means that there will be 11 companies the CapEx Beta Stock Fund is now invested in instead of 10 - and note that there is no additional SPO required to buy the shares.

Here is a new current list of assets held by the CapEx Beta Stock Fund:

(ADS) Second Ads - 41,735 shares
(ARK) Arkad's Products - 48,000 shares
(BDVR) Blue Diamond Virtual Reit - 369,230 shares
(BOOT) Bootgasm - 48,000 shares
(DFH) Digital Financial Holdings - 48,000 shares
(GXY) Galaxy Corporation - 76,800 shares
(HCS) Hostcrate - 48,000 shares
(IMBR) IMBROKERS Inc. - 48,000 shares
(NIC) Nestler Investment Corp. - 7,500 shares
(OIG) Online Investment Group - 106,666 shares
(OMG) OMG! Inc - 250,000 shares

Note that in addition to the L$58,745.12 leftover from the LEM payment, L$1,967.63 will be added for dividends paid by HCS and IMBR since I initially bought the HCS and IMBR IPO shares. This means that the next BSF dividend will be quite huge (right now it's at L$61,292.79)!

So congratulations to everyone that owns shares of BSF. The next dividend will be paid the first week of April. Thanks for being a part of Capital Exchange, and happy trading!

News Story: DFH Joins The CapEx Beta Stock Fund (BSF) http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/7472
With the sale of Nestler Investment Corp. (NIC) shares, as per previous notices I am happy to report that Digital Financial Holdings (DFH) is now officially part of the CapEx Beta Stock Fund (BSF). L$1,920 in previous dividends paid to the DFH shares I purchased during the IPO have now been added to BSF dividends for January. In addition, L$73,000 was added to January dividends from the NIC share sale. So now the fund has DFH which pays more dividend per share than NIC historically, is more diverse with 10 companies invested in, and has over L$90,000 to pay as a dividend for January.

The future is bright for BSF. Thank you for choosing to invest with the fund.

Re: BSF Dividends http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/7257
I apologize, but I missed this post when you posted it. I don't understand why anyone would be frustrated with BSF, or any of the CapEx Stock Funds. They all have fairly decent liquidity compared to other listed stocks here, and they pay a monthly dividend that annually adds up to an awesome ROI.

Anyone that wants to sell BSF shares (or any others) can easily do so via Limit Orders. You should tell people to try and sell their shares that way first, and Market order second, unless you're offering a better price P2P. It also teaches them how a stock market operates and the best way to buy and sell stock in rl in my opinion.

I think a problem with some investors is that they have unrealistic expectations. In real life, a checking account doesn't even pay 1% a year in interest. Certificates of Deposit in the US don't pay much better - perhaps between 1-3% a year. So with BSF paying over 10% a year ROI through dividends, this stock within the game overall is pretty awesome. Thanks.

News Story: Big News For Beta Stock Fund (BSF) - Time To Buy? Bid Now! http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/7445
If you already own shares of CapEx Beta Stock Fund (BSF), I'm sure you have been happy with past results. In the first 12 months, BSF has paid about a 17% return on investment (ROI) via dividends. Of the 5 CapEx Stock Funds, BSF has been one of the best performing in terms of dividends.

Well, one of the best is about to become even BETTER :-)

As most of you know, AdSpace Advertising Agency (ASA) which was previously Real Vision (RVI) paid almost no dividends to BSF. Same could be said for the SL Income and Equity Fund (IEF) - hardly any dividends were paid after the original L$48,000 purchase. When ASA/RVI and IEF were bought by Nestler Investment Corp. (NIC) this presented a great opportunity for BSF. The original purchase was L$96,000. What this means is that there are now 22,578 NIC shares as part of the fund, which is worth much more than the original L$96,000.

So what I'm going to do is this. I'm going to keep 7,500 shares of NIC as part of BSF, and auction off the remaining 15,078 NIC shares. I believe I can easily sell the 15,078 NIC shares for around L$8.00 per share, if not as high as L$9.00 or higher. From those proceeds, I am going to pay myself back for the purchase of 48,000 shares of Digital Financial Holdings (DFH) done during their IPO, and DFH will join as a company BSF is invested in. The 15,078 NIC shares are being sold to one bidder - you can't bid on just some of the shares. It's all or nothing. I'm going to do the auction until Sunday, December 30, 8 PM SLT. No bids will be accepted after that.

All remaining proceeds after the first L$48,000 will go towards BSF dividends - so let's say we only get 1 bid of L$121,000,...well, that will be L$73,000 added to the BSF dividends for January. That alone would be .037L per share dividend. For those that bought SSF at .25L per share and held on for all this time, it means you'll make back almost 15% in one shot. And the final bid should be MUCH higher than that. So this should make BSF trading extremely interesting for the next few weeks yes? :-)

So the end result will be the addition of DFH which pays a nice dividend (probably more than NIC will be paying per share?), a large BSF dividend payment for January, and a healthier BSF fund for the future with the addition of dividend-paying DFH.

To be clear, you are bidding on 15,078 shares of NIC. The first bid must be at least L$121,000. Bids must be in increments of L$1,000. All bids not rounded to the nearest L$1,000 will not be accepted. No bids will be accepted by private parties after the bidding is over - highest bid post in the forum gets the shares. Payment must be made within 24 hours of the end of the auction.

To place a bid, just post below. Just state the total price of the bid you're making. Good luck everyone, and thanks for being a part of Capital Exchange - by far the greatest game in SL to earn a linden profit!

Then you take some liquid titles with a spread and purchase with the IPO money at market prices a bunch of shares, just to dump them again to yourself (privatly) and hey, you achieved a nice profit on the back of the investors... = second profit

At that moment your title should be really low now and you buy it back again... = third profit

You surely will find ppl you call this a smart move...lol

But let's hope that the place here is still positive as Skip outlined in his best wishes for 2013. We also can cite Pangloss in Candide from Voltaire, don't we live in the best of all worlds...;-... sure we do, also this pamphlet is still forbidden in some countries, may be we should start there... lol

BSF Dividends http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/7257
I still think BSF is a safe heaven , and will produce a fair ROI in the future, I do understand the “frustration” in some “quarters”

As a result I offer to buy , the shares you purchased on my advice at the price you paid, on production of the transaction docket from CAPEX, if you wish to sell them. ( contact me via note card in world please.

This offer is for a p2p and is good until December the 27th.

I firmly believe, that BSF has a very bright future, and will produce you a fair return. I ask you to be patient in this regard, Capex is undergoing a transitional period with the mergers of several companies.

I also wish to inform you, that I reserve the right, to alter my own portfolio with dynamic intervention in the market, this in no way reflects what I feel generally about BSF, and is merely a reaction, should it happen, within my own business plan.

News Story: Dividend Error - November 2012 http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/7256
The "Galaxy Rewards" from Galaxy Corporation (GXY) was paid to my CSV Republic avatar in November. I wasn't aware of this until the eagle-eyed financial whiz woman Marishka Ixito noticed it wasn't part of the November dividend. I have added L$2,500 to the proper Subaccount holdings for BSF dividends, so the L$2,500 will be paid as part of the December BSF dividend. This will be in addition to the L$5,000 in "Galaxy Rewards" paid this month, so the BSF dividend for December is going to be much larger than in the past. Thank you and happy trading.

Re: Merger? http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/7235
If you look at the historic dividend payments of IEF and ASA, they are very disappointing. stony Woodford ran off with a lot of the assets of ASA (when it was RVI before him) and the lindens too, and Cash has been inactive and unable to pay any dividends since he took over. IEF's dividends are practically non-existant, so these have hurt dividends recently for the fund.

NIC's historic dividends per share aren't that much higher either, but they are better per share than IEF and ASA. One can only speculate what the dividend per share will be after the mergers happen for NIC, but it looks promising. For now it's my plan to keep the "new" NIC shares as part of BSF, if the mergers goes through. Thanks.

Re: Announcement http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/7000
When a price rises that quickly, automatic trading halts are tripped and they are not unnecessary at all. They serve an important purpose and protection to everyone involved.

Someone may have made a mistake by raising (or dropping)a price by a large amount, and this type of halt will limit the damage. In your case it was "deliberate" and that's fine, but we don't have a lot of limit orders unfortunately so I need to give people time to "catch up" by placing new limit orders when the price moves significantly like this. On a real life stock exchange like the NYSE, there are usually more limit orders than there are value of stock. We don't have that here, and I have been trying to work on more limit orders being placed for the 59 listed companies and funds here so when large purchases are made, the entire purchase or sale can be made at or near the Last Price. We still have a ways to go yet unfortunately.

I greatly appreciate your confidence in BSF, and I'm going to lift the temporary halt for today and keep an eye on the Bids and Asks. Thank you.

News Story: BSF Projected October Dividend http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/6910
Great news - right now the Beta Stock Fund (BSF) is projecting to pay a dividend on October 1st of L$12,907.45 - this amount will surpass the dividend paid for August and September combined. Now is a great time to buy to make a quick profit!

If you include the upcoming projected dividend, in the first 12 months since the inception of the fund, BSF will have paid L$82,942.59 in dividends. For those that bought at the IPO price of .25L per share, you will have made a profit of .0423987L per share - that's an annual return of 16.96%!

So to all the smart people that have held onto BSF from the beginning - or have been smart enough to buy recently, congratulations on your profit. I hope to continue the same high returns over the next 12 months. Happy trading!

Another L$10,000 Donated To CapEx Stock Funds Dividends! http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/6394
The good news continues to get even better. A few days ago I announced that an anonymous donor wished to donate L$5,000 towards dividends for the 5 CapEx Stock Funds: Beta Stock Fund (BSF), Delta Stock Fund (DSF), Gamma Stock Fund (GSF), Omega Stock Fund (OSF), and Sigma Stock Fund (SSF). What this meant is that an extra L$1,000 was considered revenue for each fund, and will paid out as dividends July 1st.

Well, this inspired a different anonymous person to donate another L$10,000 (L$2,000 more for each fund!) towards the dividends. Here is the message the anonymous donor has for everyone about this "super-dividend":

"Since the CapEx Stock Funds belong to all of us, I think it is a nice way to say thank you for the fun of playing to all."

The additional L$2,000 in dividends per fund will greatly enhance the payment on July 1st (L$3,000 per fund including the original L$1,000 donation). My personal thanks to the two anonymous donors who contributed. Anyone else that wishes to contribute, I surely won't complain :-) 100% of what you donate goes towards dividends. Thanks again.

CapEx Stock Funds (BSF DSF GSF OSF and SSF) Now Paying Monthly Dividends http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/5848
I have finally given in to the almost weekly whining from many CapEx Stock Fund investors, and even though this is going to result in much more work for me, I have decided to start paying a monthly dividend for the 5 CapEx Stock Funds (Beta, Delta, Gamma, Omega and Sigma). I hope this will encourage more active trading in these funds, which are paying a fantastic return on investment already. Do not expect a lot of dividends per month however - that is why I felt waiting every 3 months was best. But if it makes more investors happy, I'll give it a go.

Dividends will be paid the first week of every month, and will cover the period of the prior month. Financials will still only be done quarterly. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Now leave me alone :-)

CapEx Stock Funds Dividend Projections - Looking Good! http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/5803
I would like to give everyone some projected dividends for the 5 CapEx Stock Funds. For those that are unfamiliar with the 5 CapEx Stock Funds, let me give you a brief explanation.

The 5 CapEx Stock Funds are:

Beta Stock Fund (BSF)
Delta Stock Fund (DSF)
Gamma Stock Fund (GSF)
Omega Stock Fund (OSF)
Sigma Stock Fund (SSF)

Each fund invests in up to 10 companies. 100% of dividends paid by those companies to each fund, go towards dividends. In addition, 1% of each stock sale for a particular fund's stock goes towards revenue for that particular fund (the exchange normally charges 1.75% as a Transaction Fee, so 1% of this goes back to each fund). For example, if someone sells 10,000 shares of BSF at .25L per share, the BSF fund gains revenue of 25L. Each fund is managed by myself, and I do not take any salary for doing this. So all revenue goes towards dividends.

Here are the current quarterly dividend projections for each fund. **Note that these projections will go up if dividends are paid by a company between now and March 31st!**

Beta Stock Fund (BSF): L$8,178.71
Delta Stock Fund (DSF): L$35,151.49
Gamma Stock Fund (GSF): L$17,750.61
Omega Stock Fund (OSF): L$15,014.60
Sigma Stock Fund (SSF): L$15,965.80

Let's take a look at what the projected annual return will be for each CapEx Stock Fund. **Note that these projections will go up if dividends are paid by a company between now and March 31st!**

Beta Stock Fund (BSF)

Last 2 dividends for 90-day periods:
L$28,999.22, L$8,178.71 = L$37,177.93
Total Shares: 1,956,250
Projected 6-month dividend per share: .019L
Projected 12-month dividend per share: .038L (doubling last 6 month performance)

If you bought BSF at this price, you could this % annually through dividends (note this is a PROJECTION only):

.20L per share: 19.0% Annual Return
.25L per share: 15.2% Annual Return
.30L per share: 12.7% Annual Return

Delta Stock Fund (DSF)

Last 2 dividends for 90-day periods:
L$22,339.89, L$35,151.49 = L$57,491.38
Total Shares: 1,600,000 (at 1st full dividend)/2,000,000 (at last dividend)
Projected 6-month dividend per share (at 2,000,000 shares): .0287L
Projected 12-month dividend per share: .0574L (doubling last 6 month performance)

If you bought DSF at this price, you could this % annually through dividends (note this is a PROJECTION only):

.20L per share: 28.7% Annual Return
.25L per share: 23.0% Annual Return
.30L per share: 19.1% Annual Return

Gamma Stock Fund (GSF)

Last 2 dividends for 90-day periods:
L$20,927.78, L$17,750.61 = L$38,678.39
Total Shares: 1,608,333 (at 1st full dividend)/2,008,333 (at last dividend)
Projected 6-month dividend per share (at 2,008,333 shares): .019L
Projected 12-month dividend per share: .038L (doubling last 6 month performance)

If you bought GSF at this price, you could this % annually through dividends (note this is a PROJECTION only):

.20L per share: 19.0% Annual Return
.25L per share: 15.2% Annual Return
.30L per share: 12.7% Annual Return

Omega Stock Fund (OSF)

Last 2 dividends for 90-day periods:
L$28,171.21, L$15,014.60 = L$43,185.81
Total Shares: 2,134,648
Projected 6-month dividend per share: .020L
Projected 12-month dividend per share: .040L (doubling last 6 month performance)

If you bought OSF at this price, you could this % annually through dividends (note this is a PROJECTION only):

.20L per share: 20.0% Annual Return
.25L per share: 16.0% Annual Return
.30L per share: 13.3% Annual Return

Sigma Stock Fund (SSF)

Last 2 dividends for 90-day periods:
L$31,786.03, L$15,965.80 = L$47,751.83
Total Shares: 2,008,333
Projected 6-month dividend per share: .0238L
Projected 12-month dividend per share: .047L (doubling last 6 month performance)

If you bought SSF at this price, you could this % annually through dividends (note this is a PROJECTION only):

.20L per share: 23.5% Annual Return
.25L per share: 18.8% Annual Return
.30L per share: 15.7% Annual Return

SUMMARY:

The 5 CapEx Stock Funds are performing extremely well. In a worst-case scenario, people should be earning about 12.5% if they bought at .30L per share. A best-case scenario someone could be earning 28.5%. I think that is incredible. I do have to say that I am a little disappointed though that there isn't more trading happening with these funds. This lower than expected trading activity has reduced my initial estimates of how well each fund would perform in terms of dividends. Still, I think the projected return on investment (ROI) levels of 12.5% - 28.5% are something to be proud of.

Expect quarterly dividends to be paid on April 1st or 2nd. Any questions, feel free to ask. Thank you for being a part of Capital Exchange!

L$10,215 Donated To CapEx Stock Funds Dividends! http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/5749
It's the normal policy of Capital Exchange to take reclaimed Lindens from inactive accounts and allocate them towards website updates. Since a large Secondary Public Offering (SPO) was just conducted for that purpose, I have decided to allocate L$10,215 of recently reclaimed Lindens towards the 5 CapEx Stock Funds. They are:

Beta Stock Fund (BSF)
Delta Stock Fund (DSF)
Gamma Stock Fund (GSF)
Omega Stock Fund (OSF)
Sigma Stock Fund (SSF)

The total allocated towards dividends for each fund was L$2,043.00. The next dividends for these 5 funds will be paid the first week of April. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you!

(RVI) Real Vision Inc. 96,000 - L$70,080.00

If you want to base the total stock value on the last price times the number of shares, BSF is worth L$949,537.60. Note that L$48,000 was purchased for each company, and L$2,000 was put towards fees and expenses for each, so the original amount invested was L$500,000. For those who are math challenged, that's an 89.9% increase not including the Lindens in reserve of L$20,833.27! So this means that value-wise we have made very good investments.

I have decided to pay the entire balance each quarter for the dividend, instead of holding back a partial balance. So for half of Q4, with 1,956,250 outstanding shares and L$20,833.27 to be paid towards dividends so far, that means right now a little more than .01L per share dividend could be paid. With 2 more rounds of dividends to be paid, the amount per share could reach more than .02L. Not too bad :-)

Any questions about this update, please feel free to ask. Thanks for being a part of the CapEx Beta Stock Fund.

Re: L$100,000 BSF SPO Sold Out In 4 Hours! http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/4494
I personally think that the SPO price has something to do with it, people may have 100-1000L$ knocking around and with such a low price anyway people can see themselves having a small piece of something worthwhile rather than such a small number of shares to be next to useless lol

Unless a company the fund invested in delists, there will be no further SPO's for the CapEx Beta Stock Fund. Another dividend will be paid in early January for BSF. Open trading has restarted for BSF, and Limit Orders may now be placed again. Happy trading!

New "Greek Fund" (BSF, DSF, GSF, OSF and SSF) Policy Announced http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/BSF/4432
First some clarification. The reason I call these 5 funds "Greek Funds" is that Beta, Delta, Gamma, Omega and Sigma are Greek alphabet letters. These funds are not connected in any way to Greece or any high risk bonds associated with their debt. I had a few people ask, so I felt clarifying that was wise :-)

I want to say that so far I'm pleased at how the funds are operating. Dividends are starting to accumulate, and the next dividend will be paid around the first week of January. As time goes on and more shareholders buy and sell shares, daytrading will increase.

For information on how the Greek Funds work, please read use link:

http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/general/3792

With that being said, I'm announcing that I am going to place a cap on the number of companies invested with each fund to 10. A few traders felt it was not good to keep adding new companies to each fund, because it made it hard to predict the future of how well the fund would do, and would prohibit some from investing due to the uncertaintity. I never thought of that before, and I can see the point. So effective immediately, once 10 companies are reached, there will be no new SPO's for that fund. Only if a company delists would there be a "replacement" stock added, and a new L$50,000 SPO performed.

The next SPO that will be done will be for the Omega Stock Fund. BOTS and BRC will be added to round out to 10 companies. Sigma will also be done, adding RVI and ARK to make that 10 invested as well. As future companies join the exchange, I'll announce which will be added to what fund.

If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

Welcome to the CapEx Beta Stock Fund

Chairman's Letter
Dear Shareholders:

Welcome to a new concept in stock funds at Capital Exchange. I wish to create 5 different stock funds. Each stock fund would do an IPO for $350,000. The starting share price will be L$.25, so there would be a lot of shares to trade in each fund.

I will be the fund CEO, but I am not getting paid anything to be CEO. There are no Owner Shares – technically the fund would be owned and operated by Capital Exchange. Stock would be purchased manually by me from 7 different companies for each fund after the IPO is completed – roughly L$48,000 for each company.

Please read the details of the fund, and I hope you decide to invest. Thank you.

Business Overview
So I know what you’re thinking – how will this really differ from any other listed stock fund? Here’s how:

1) The .1% Market Maker fee would not be paid to me (as CEO) from each fund. Instead, it will be set at 1.0%, and all proceeds go towards the dividend for each fund. For example, if a 1.99% Transaction Fee is paid, 1% goes towards revenue for the fund, and .99% to Capital
Exchange. In some cases, only .14% could go towards CapEx because of various incentives and lower trading fees paid by a seller. In all cases, the 1% will go to the fund.

2) The “CEO” (myself) has nothing to do except report financials. There will be no buying and selling of additional shares because 100% of the funds profits will go
towards dividends.

3) The 3.99% IPO fee will be broken down as follows: .99% for Capital Exchange, and 1% will be paid as dividends for the first 3 quarters (it will be a quarterly dividend). This way there will be extra dividends paid for the first 9 months to make the fund more attractive
to investors.

4) As new companies become listed, a L$50,000 SPO will be done for each fund in alphabetical order. At the end of the SPO, the same rules will apply above.

Business Strengths
Some benefits of doing this type of fund:

1) Immediate L$48,000 boost in trading volume to every single listed company on the exchange. Roughly L$1,700,000 boost to IPO exchange volume.

2) Low starting price, high amount of shares on the market = daytraders loving this. I have spoken to a few already and they are 100% on board. They really like the concept. I envision 1,400,000 shares for each company (no Owner Shares).

3) 5 additional listed companies for the exchange creating more investment choices.

4) Small positive revenue for Capital Exchange with no expenses.

5) A good way to steer “beginners” to a simple fund for a small ROI. In time or immediately they will also buy shares in your listed companies.

6) Increased choices for daytraders and investors looking for high-trading stocks with low prices.

Use Of Capital
Here are the 7 companies that will be invested in for the CapEx Beta Stock Fund:

Second Ads
Blue Diamond Virtual Reit
Ford Edelman & Co.
Galaxy Corporation
SL Income & Equity Fund
Online Investment Group
OMG! Inc.

Roughly L$48,000 will be invested in each company by purchasing their stock. Stock will be purchased either directly from the CEO, or other shareholders.

Dividend Policy
100% of profit will be paid as dividends.

Risk Factors
The main risk involved would be companies in the fund delisting from Capital Exchange.
