In case of DMWA the new LL policy might hurt us in our core investments at the Rock Exchange, which might quote its stocks in a different virtual currency than the L$. So dividends might be distributed in this currency as well. I am not going to support the LINDEX by any means, so there might be no way to convert the virtual money to L$.

To be very clear, our assets at The Rock are not at risk, and my trust in The Rock is still at 100%.

How to resolve this?

Until now, I have nothing to offer except my first ideas and everyone is invited to share his/her thoughts.

Option 1 sale of assets: We could sell the assets at The Rock. But I will never give them away as a bargain.

Option 2 split: If the Rocks turns to a different currency we split DMWA into a DMWA@CAPEX and a DMWA@The Rock division. The company at CAPEX would still distribute all earnings in L$ and hold all assets in L$.

Option 3 liquidation: We liquidate all and close the chapter DMWA.

Option 4 new CEO: Maybe someone is willing to operate on the LINDEX and wants to take over control of DMWA assets.

We are a greedy group.

GVC is considering another SPO, they keep doing that and soon DMWA will pay a higher Dividend Rate than they are presently doing. Look at ADDS for an example.. 17+ million shares. I wouldn't buy them on a bet.

Its so easy to just go away. Dont forget Whitfield, and besides i personally lost some in Hoorenbeek some years ago. HBK did an IPO , payed some dividents for a start and then stopped, just like ADS. Same attitude towards stockholder and finally they just left SLCAPEX. But company and their business remains in SL. They just dont have to share their profit. And nobody could do anything.
So be careful where to put our money.

Keep up your stunning work Lea and dont change your strategy. You have proven to have skills for this Lea. Btw i wouldnt be surprise if you have a lot RL experience of this.

I suggest doing exactly that. Take 2 months Dividends and purchase more stock in other Dividend Paying companies. Do it during the Summer months when the prices are low.

nothing is wrong here. Sean tried to get an offer for his shares. Though the offers from Eddards and Eliale have been excellent, he decided not to sell. Sean has no need to sell, but he is free to sell or not to sell at any price to anyone. This is very different from auctions in a liquidation process of a company.

Personally I think most of the share trading should be done on the trading floor instead of P2P negotiations. And some of our shareholders are smart enough to set limit orders in smaller amounts of shares at a very good price for the seller.

You all know I am buying shares of DMWA over time, and I decided not to sell any of mine. When I have some free money, I buy from the market, so everyone who wants to sell should set limit orders, which might be filled sometime. This is not any buyback policy of the company, just my personal funds to increase my stake in DMWA.

DMWA would buy own shares, if the price fell below NAV. But currently DMWA shares are clearly overvalued.

I did a quick check and of course I cannot comment on any specific portfolios for confidentiality reasons, but about 75% of DMWA shareholders also hold other stocks at CapEx, and many are active within the last 30 days with buying or selling. I IM'd a few, and yes they said they are holding for the great dividends being paid. I notice some "new" shareholders withdrawing the lindens they get from dividends, and a few even investing in new stocks. So overall I think things are going well, and everyone I talk to is very happy that you have managed to create something from basically nothing. I think the miracle has already happened LOL

I see most shareholders in the top 10 are alive and kicking, but I have no idea what the smaller shareholders want to do. Maybe there are not interested, maybe they just enjoy the dividends and just want to hold the stock, maybe they wait for a miracle.

A buyback at current levels would decrease our asset value, so that is not an option.

I am not in favor of a stock split either, I prefer a small number of outstanding shares. It might be an option, when DMWA will be traded above 100 L$ a share (LOL).

But as you know I have no majority in DMWA, so shareholders can initiate a voting on whatever they think is in their best interest.

@jeanne: I am aware that LLF is a risky investment, especially when you look at BOOTS and similar companies. But I think it's too early to make a judgement. LLF deserves a chance, and that was what I am giving them.

Financials will be posted on 1st of April. though I close the books for dividend payments always on last Tuesday of a month.

But there are some nitpickers around, who insist on quarterly financials published after the quarter's ending.

I do have a question about pricebreakers. Will an order be processed even though it will be over the limit if its just one large buy or sell amount? Or will only 1 share be processed and the rest of the same order will not since the trade will be halted immediately. To me it seems that the 1 order that hits the breaker will be processed no matter how large it is and after that it will be halted. Please explain.

I havent done the math on LEM liquidation, but it seems DMWA did benefit from liquidation compared with "selling while selling is decent " dont you think.

regarding what to do with LEM liquidation divs, i do believe you will continue with your investmentstrategy and thats fine with me.
My suggestion is to give average divs and then reinvest the rest.
If there is any lowrisk company that meets your investment terms i would say.

Besides, she started this fund and saved a lot of people from Bank disaster. As far as I am concerned, she is basically the owner. She's managed this fund from nothing to a pretty good financial success. She can do as she likes, if you don't like it you can take your little bum with a pop-sickle stick up it's ass and go somewhere else.
