Re: Verballis Co Announces Collaboration Agreement http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/5571
I want to congratulate you for all the effort you have been contributing towards making Verballis a great company for everyone to invest in. As a board member and one of the top ten shareholders I am happy to see we are finally leaving behind our period of stagnation and getting new deals with leading virtual companies.

To all other investors and sharholders I want to say that this is definitely a venture to watch out for and the only reason why it has been a sleeping giant so far was because the management team was not working together to achieve clear goals. Now that has changed and we have a solid work team in place that actively meets every week and makes all the important decisions needed to take a business forward. So please stick around and share with us all our future accomplishments.

Thanks,

Verballis Co Announces Collaboration Agreement http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/5571
As some of you may know I took my post as the head of the sales department a few weeks ago with one clear goal in mind helping VBL reach an unprecedented level of growth and become one of the exchange's most prosperous companies. That has not been easy and I spent all this time writing to many business leaders to see if I could make them realize the huge potential Second Life has because of its international nature and the amount of consumers waiting to be satisfied. Many emails went without any response but there were also a few promising leads which I am currently pursuing with all my strength.

Out of these many opportunities for our company to close a major agreeement which would enable us to pay a large dividend came an excellent company willing to enter into partnership with us and provide us with a constant stream of work for the upcoming weeks and months. I am pleased to announce that as of yesterday we have become the official translators of Second ADS and its growing base of products and innovation in the field of virtual gaming. This collaboration will allow both parties to benefit greatly and set a clear example that virtual companies can become much stronger if they create synergy by complementing each other.

I want everyone to know that I am in this company to stay and I will continue closing strategic partnerships with the best companies of Second Life to finally give you all that you deserve as an investor. So please hold on to your shares and buy some more so you can be a part of this new era of growth and success with us.

If you have any questions comments or concerns please let me know.

Thankyou

VBL Website http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/5501 http://www.verballistranslations.com/index.htm has English that isn't correct.

It states "The best and cheapest way to get your translations work done"

In actuality, the statement should be "The best, and cheapest, way to get your translation work done."

Those commas could be optional, depending on how you read it, but for sure it should be translation over translations.

In addition, the phrase: "Whatever your requirement VBL can help you." is one the website, which should be: "VBL can help you with whatever you require."
---------------------------------------
No offense to VBL management, but I would highly suggest going back over your website and fixing things like these that are wrong if you'll be translating anything into English.

Translation Services http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/5472 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/77098

We make about 20,000 sales a month and it strikes me we could increase that with translation.

This is our marketplace store. I'm on the lookout for ways to increase sales. The marketplace listings have translation options for:

- English
- Japanese
- German
- French
- Portuguese

What I would be interested in is getting our entire listings translated. But I would need to see this done at a very reasonable price?

I would also want them to read as native translations. I'm not going to pay for something shot out of babel fish (not that I am saying you'd do that).

Much of it is boilerplate anyway so it's not as hard as it looks.

Progress Report 1/16/12 http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/5461
I just wanted to update you on the state of the company after the weekly operations meeting between Mr.Ferre Howlett, Mr. Macbeth Kingmaker and I.

I am happy to say a lot of measures have been put in motion in order to change the perception consumers have of our brand. One of those has been to discuss our pricing and also talk to our translators to improve the quality of our service. In addition to that in order to make sales more efficient we have established a customer service procedure.

Another good piece of news is that our sales department has already a considerable amount of leads to pursue. We hope to have some contracts closed by the end of the month and be in a position to deliver a decent dividend for everyone. The investment fund the company has also managed to produce some returns this month and some of the companies we have shares in have not yet paid dividends so we can only expect that extra revenue stream to go up.

Finally I would like to close this by saying I really believe in this company and that if things continue to run as smooth I can see it becoming one of the top companies in this exchange by the end of 2012. That is why I have become the eight largest shareholder in the venture which I thought was necessary since as a board member I have to support the company.

Re: Verballis Progress Report - 1/12/2011 http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/5434
Its always a pleasure to see a shareholder that follows the company forum and participates in it. We want Verballis to be known not only for a high standard of quality and dedication to its industry but also for having an excellent relation with investors. All shareholders no matter how big or small are business partners and we will always treat them like so.

With regards to your first question the company information page was updated some time after our first board meeting. If you see any information which seems misleading or is not clear enough we would love to have some feedback on it so we can fix it as soon as possible.

I have not dealt with the translation services so far because the company ceo ensured me that front is being improved by him. Our translation service will continue and we will do our best to keep the rates affordable and provide a fast delivery time. That way we hope to position ourselves at the top of the market.

The current management of Verballis as well as the board believe high-quality translations cannot come from HUDs or website translation tools. We will develop a solid team of professional translators for all the languages provide. Our goal is to use only native speakers of their language who are also fully fluent in English.

I hope that has answered your questions but if not feel free to let me know and I will do my best to help you.

Thanks for your support,

Verballis Progress Report - 1/12/2011 http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/5434
As some of you might remember I was appointed by the CEO of this company to the board of directors a while back in order to help the venture move forward in the upcoming months and make 2012 a year of restructuring and growth laying a solid foundation for a very good return on investment to anyone who is an active partner in our company.

I will admit to you that things have not been easy so far due to the fact the company has been stagnant for a while. Mr. Ferre Howlett inherited from his predecessor a substantial amount of Linden reserves but also a business model which had produced little to no growth and a brand which had not really found a place in the heart of the public.

Today many good steps have been taken to ensure things can change and we can steadily increase the amount of dividends paid each month an build awareness around what we do and the quality of the service we provide. Second Life is a global world with no borders, there are no Visas and people from all over the world can come together mingle and in doing so generate a powerful economy. That is why it's key for any virtual business to provide written information in as many languages as possible.

I am proud to say to you that Verballis is currently working to consolidate it's corporate image in order to increase brand exposure and sales. I won't say exactly how yet because we want it to be a pleasant surprise for all shareholders and collaborators who have stayed with the company for some time. But I am sure you will happy with the improvements being made.

Finally I would like to inform you that we are currently in talks with The Rock Insurance Co. to lift the freeze on VBL insurance services and improve our rating with that firm. That way we hope to provide an extra level of security to any shareholder interested in insuring its investment as well as a minimum coverage for everyone.

I ask you to stay with us through the following months and becoming part of this new rebirth we have planned for the company.

Thanks,

Carter Allegrant

Re: A request to Capital Exchange http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/4542
I wanted to take a moment to share with you the current situation of this company and why I believe the measure of doing a temporary trading halt is necessary.

After the initial board meeting many decisions were taken in order to improve the revenue streams of the company and get it going again. However, several weeks have past since that took place and the current Chief Executive Officer Ferre Howlett has simply done nothing to put those measures into action making the role of the board powerless.

I have personally tried to contact Mr.Howlett a few times with no success but from the few conversations I have had with him I get the impression that although he had good intentions when taking over he is not committed enough to making things happen. That is why I believe the company should not be trading until the measures decided on by the board can be put in practice and Mr.Howlett shows interest in running the company.

As I write this I am seriously considering my resignation to the board since the only thing that keeps me from it is that I feel responsible to both investors and my fellow board. We have all put a lot of effort and the CEO is simply not matching that so its impossible to move forward.

Thanks,
Carter Allegrant

Re: Dividend? http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/4519
I sent a letter to ferre and the Board of Directors of VBL on October 27, 2011 with a list of ideas and suggestions for the company, including some dividend scenarios, and requested that a meeting of the BOD be called. I did discuss some of the ideas in my letter with ferre and Carter Allegrant, another member of the BOD. To date, ferre has not called another meeting of the Board of Directors. In fact, I have not communicated with ferre since November 3, 2011. I have not even seen him online since then. (In fact, I sent him two press releases on November 4, 2011 to send out and they have not ever gone out.) Has anyone else seen or heard from ferre recently?

Ultimately, it is ferre's decision as CEO as to pay a dividend or not. If ferre would like to discuss this with the BOD and seek our guidance in this respect, we would be more than happy to provide that.

I am glad to see an investor actively participating in our company forum, it really shows an interest in what's going on and a desire help.

That said the reason why we want to hold on a bit in releasing our financial report for the third quarter is that the company is going through a very important restructuring period and we want to time our entrance back to the trading floor with some other exciting news.

A lot of things have been accomplished so far and me alongside the rest of the board are doing our best to get the company back in shape in the shortest amount possible. The fact that Mr.Howlett saw the need to appoint a board move forward really shows there is a lot of good faith on part of the present management.

Good things take time and the company has been dormant for a fairly long period so I politely ask that you give us sometime and let us prove to you and all other investors our future looks bright.

While the overall financial situation of VBL appears to be good and there do not appear to be any reasons for concern, I have to date been unable to obtain adequate answers to all of the questions I have about the company's finances. Rather than file a financial statement that may contain inaccuracies in order to meet CAPEX's arbitrary deadline, as soon as I have all of the relevant information needed to prepare an accurate financial statement, I will do so.

Once again, I do want to caution investors that there is no cause for alarm. I hope that I will be provided with the information I need as soon as possible so that VBL can file its Q3 Financial Statement and trading in the company's shares can resume.

Re: News Story: revitalising VBL http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/4114
My name is Carter Allegrant, and some of you may know me by my company the Metaverse Business Journal which I have been running for about nine months so far. I would like to introduce myself as a new board member and let you know how I came to accept this new role.

A few days back Mr.Howlett approached me an asked me if I wanted to participate in the company now that he was working really hard to bring it back to its former glory. This of course seemed to me a thrilling project due to the size of the challenge and the fact that I had been thinking for a while of taking a more active role in one of the publicly listed companies.

I have been a Second Life business consultant for a few years know and I have had the opportunity to participate in numerous virtual companies ranging from real estate to musical venue management as well as virtual brokering of stocks and public relations.

This experience will help me bring a lot to the table when it comes to Verballis Translations Services and in the upcoming weeks I will do my best to meet with the CEO and rest of the board to share a few great ideas I have come up with to get the company growing and producing a higher return on investment.

Thanks for the opportunity,

Carter Allegrant

I hereby certify the election of the new CEO, and will work with ferre over the next few days teaching him how to use the CEO Menu functions and to transfer control over.

Special thanks to Milos/Bobbi Katscher for making this happen. I believe that this will result in new activity and revenue for VBL, which ultimately will create dividends and increased trading activity making everyone happy.

News Story: VBL Appoints A New CEO http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/3531
In summary, Ferre Howlett has been elected the new CEO of VBL with 215,792 shares in favour.

I would like to congratulate Ferre and best wishes for the future of VBL. I will continue to have some involvement with VBL when needed but Ferre will ultimately now assume all responsibilities.

Verballistranslations Resident will be the VBL alt. Business transactions will take place on this alt and company related shares will be kept here.

[16:10] Bobbi Katscher: Okay, so thank you for attending the shareholder meeting today. I hope that you have had the opportunity to read the news story regarding the reason for this shareholder meeting.
[16:11] Bobbi Katscher: I will give an overview of the recent events that have been taking in VBL
[16:12] Bobbi Katscher: Okay, so the agend of the shareholder meeting is to propose and to elect a new CEO.
[16:13] Bobbi Katscher: In October 2010 I had announced that VBL was activitely seeking a candidate to take over the role of CEO for VBL
[16:15] Bobbi Katscher: The reasoning behind this is due to a lack of available time in and out of Second Life
[16:17] Bobbi Katscher: As most of you know my main avatar is firstdesigns Milos (the CEO of MiLOS Designs) and it has been clear for quite sometime that in carrying out the running of two businesses within SL as well as RL activities outside of SL it has been difficult to sustain a balance of operating effective business with VBL and MLS
[16:19] Bobbi Katscher: In proposing to elect a new CEO this will look to bring someone into Verballis who is able to provide the availability and energy required to operate Verballis in an effective and successful manner
[16:20] Bobbi Katscher: Currently Verballis is running with low activity and therefore low revenues and profits; however I made sure that there were no obligations to have regular expenses hitting the financials each month
[16:22] Bobbi Katscher: Since October of last year I have been looking for the right person who I think would carry out the roles and responsibilities of being CEO of Verballis
[16:24] Bobbi Katscher: In February of this year I had identified a potential candidate and I am here today to propose that ferre Howlett become the CEO of Verballis Translation Services
[16:26] Bobbi Katscher: I believe that ferre is best suited for the role and that he shows a very high level of interest in increasing activity within VBL and bringing Vereballis to a stage where it can start to generate a healthy level of return to its investors
[16:27] Bobbi Katscher: So now I would like to open the floor up to any questions if there are any before we cast a vote
[16:27] Sabrina Imari: actually, I do have a few questions
[16:28] Bobbi Katscher: sure no problem Sabrina, please go right ahead
[16:28] Sabrina Imari: my first question is about the activity of VBL....is VBL actively performing any translation work at this time?
[16:31] Bobbi Katscher: Over the last couple of months VBL has not been carrying out any translation work. This is primarily due to myself not being fully active within SL. The proposal of electing ferre howlett as the new CEO will allow ferre to assume responsibility in developing and bringing VBL back to the level of performance that it once had
[16:31] Sabrina Imari: okay, that was my understanding...I just wanted to make sure that I had the correct understanding
[16:32] Sabrina Imari: and one more question, who are the primary potential customers for VBL's services?
[16:32] ferre Howlett: both inworld and outworld
[16:33] ferre Howlett: especialy for some languages i have regular outworld work
[16:33] Sabrina Imari: so VBL has revenues coming from work performed outside of SL?
[16:35] Bobbi Katscher: at present and to date VBL customers have ranged from anyone who is looking to have a piece of text translated to a business owner who is looking to have some notecards translated into a number of selected languages
[16:36] Sabrina Imari: ok
[16:36] Bobbi Katscher: during the past few months several meeting have been held to discuss the available options that there are with regards to VBL's strategy and how best to go forward
[16:36] Sabrina Imari: I just wanted to make sure that I understood the basic business model
[16:36] Bobbi Katscher: of course
[16:38] Bobbi Katscher: well over the past few months ferre has expressed a keen interest in what his potential plans are for the business. The avenues that have been discussed could potentially relate to out of world activities but right now the main focus is to continue any VBL business model in-world
[16:40] Bobbi Katscher: if there are no more questions then we shall commence the vote
[16:40] Sabrina Imari: no further questions at this time
[16:43] Bobbi Katscher: The proposed is for Ferre Howlett to be elected as CEO of Verballis Translation Services
[16:44] Bobbi Katscher: Within the VBL forum luc33 Bekkers has voted 'In Favour' of 2,110 shares
[16:44] Bobbi Katscher: Sabrina, please could you cast your vote
[16:45] Sabrina Imari: Sabrina Imari casts her 100 shares of VBL "In Favor of" the proposal
[16:46] elsy Schoonhoven: 5450 in favor
[16:46] Bobbi Katscher: ferre
[16:46] ferre Howlett: in favor 133423 sh
[16:48] Bobbi Katscher: Bobbi Katsch 74,709 shares in favour
[16:48] Bobbi Katscher: Bobbi Katscher*
[16:51] Bobbi Katscher: In total that is 215,792 shares in favour of Ferre Howlett becoming the new CEO of VBL. 215,792 shares is 71.9% of total shares and is therefore a majority
[16:51] Bobbi Katscher: I would therefore like to announce that ferre Howlett is newly elected the Chief Executive Officer of VBL
[16:54] Bobbi Katscher: I would now like to invite ferre to the stand to say a few words
[16:55] ferre Howlett: 1st of all thx to milos for what he has done for VBL in the psat
[16:55] ferre Howlett: of course i want to thank all of them who voted in favour af course
[16:56] ferre Howlett: to get VBL back to where it was it will take time that milos doesnt have but i do
[16:57] ferre Howlett: i also have been in sl for about 4 years now
[16:57] ferre Howlett: and know theers is a need to get inworld translationsd therefor i know that VBL can get bak into business
[16:58] ferre Howlett: so i will use my time to get there
[16:59] ferre Howlett: thank u for attending this meeting and your trust in me
[17:00] Bobbi Katscher: thank you ferre
[17:03] Bobbi Katscher: I will be continuing to have some involvement with VBL and I to ensure a smooth transition. I will be available to aid ferre and VBL in any qustions that may need answering. I will also be continuing to produce the financials for VBL
[17:04] Bobbi Katscher: I wish ferre the best of luck and I hope to see VBL progressing in the future
[17:05] Bobbi Katscher: thank you all for attending, the log of this meeting will be published in the VBL forum
[17:06] Bobbi Katscher: If anyone has any questions or queries then please contact ferre Howlett or leave a message in the forum

Thank you all for your support during my time as CEO and please do keep in contact if you do have any further queries.

Kind Regards

Bobbi Katscher

VBL - Shareholder Meeting - Saturday 25th June @ Crystal Springs http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/3492
I am inviting all VBL shareholders to attend a shareholders meeting on Saturday 25th June 2011. The proposed time of the meeting is 4pm SLT. Hopefully this time gives people the opportunity to attend.

The meeting will be held at the conference area at Crystal Springs (the Capex headquarters).

================================================

THE AGENDA

The agenda of the shareholder meeting will be to propose and to elect a new CEO.

In October 2010 it was announced in the Monthly financials that VBL was looking for a candidate to take over the role of CEO. In doing so this will bring the opportunity for VBL to once again operate as a 'flowing' business.

The proposed is for Ferre Howlett to stand as CEO going forward. The meeting will aim to bring transparency and give an opportunity to express views and to ultimately vote and elect.

================================================

If you are unable to attend then please post your vote "In Favour" or "Apposed" for Ferre becoming CEO of VBL and add the amount of your shares next to your vote.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or queries prior to the shareholder meeting, and if not then I hope to see you next Saturday.

Kind Regards

Verballis Translation Services February 2011 Financials http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/453
Below is the link for the monthly financials of February 2011:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0Av_h4_u2eXr5dFpveU13ZTdYZlVIcGctTnJGcmJCcEE&output=html

February brings Sales of L$-1,313 with a Investment Income of L$3,452.57; a Net Profit of L$2,139.57.

There were sadly no translations completed during February with an added loss due to a refund of an XStreet purchase.

There will be no dividend for February.

Re: Verballis Translations Services - February 2011 Announcement http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/3092
Hopefully if all goes to plan then Verballis will start a new page and look to develop into a company with consistent sales.

There are many opportunities that are available to a translations based business and it will be a disappointment that I do not have the time to develop the business personally.

From the discussions that have already taken place regarding the future of VBL its definitely a 'watch this space' kind of thing.

Kind Regards

After Ferre I am the 2nd highest owner :O

What do you think this will do for the company when it has someone actively pushing it that can dedicate more time?

Verballis Translations Services - February 2011 Announcement http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/3092
I would like to make an announcement regarding the future of Verballis Translations Services.

For quite sometime I have expressed my interest in reducing the position that I hold with VBL. My RL life has considerably reduced the amount of time available to focus on Second Life; and the main interest is to focus solely on MiLOS Designs.

In the ‘notes to the accounts’ for October 2010 I said:

“I can confirm that I will be looking for a buyer for Verballis.
Please contact me if you are interested in taking over a translations business.”

During February 2011 a number of discussions have taken place and I can now confirm that ferre Howlett will eventually take over control as the CEO of VBL.

Ferre and I have been in discussions regarding the future of the company. I strongly believe that Ferre is more than capable of delivering increased growth and a sustainable dividend to its shareholders.

The transfer of ownership has been agreed and will take place over the next 6 to 12 months. In this time Ferre and I will be revising the current strategy and putting into place some ‘cogs’ that will drive forward the business.

The holdings will eventually be as follows:

Ferre Howlett: 50% + 1 share
Firstdesigns Milos: 25%
The Market: 25%

When Ferre eventually takes full control he has requested that I stay on the ‘board’ for a period of time as CFO.

Please do feel free to ask any questions that you may have,

With Kind Regards

Verballis Translation Services January 2011 Financials http://slcapex.com/forums/topic/VBL/453
Below is the link for the monthly financials of January 2011:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=0Av_h4_u2eXr5dEFkSjJWNkM5aXVCVkhYZVZneTE0T0E&hl=en&output=html

January brings interest Sales of L$4,500 with a Net Profit of L$1,535.96.

I am continuing to fulfill translation requests but as previously stated I do have a reduced amount of time available for VBL at present. Ideally I am looking for someone to buy my holding in VBL and take over the business.

I am interested in meeting with all those interested.

A dividend of L$3,000 will be paid shortly.

With kind regards,

Bobbi Katscher
