shareholders | |
| Hello Wili and Amy, maybe something to think about ..... now devidends for shareholders are a little less .... why not give them great discounts (50% or more) on ADS products such as worm farms,Snuffles, the new breeding pet etc. … I think shareholders wil appreciate this very much. Kind regards Luska. |

| Nice idea, but how will the discount be calculated, some of us have many more shares than others, if the criteria is only owning shares what is to stop someone simply buying one share to "qualify"? :) There are slightly more than 4,600,000 shares out (26.3% overall out of the hands of the top ten shareholders) there besides the top ten, giving people who own such shares huge discounts would be impractical at best and a logistics nightmare at worst :p Dividends are not really that low, what you have to remember is that back in the day there were only 20% of the shares floating around, now there are many more and if you had kept hold of them you could simply multiply whatever dividend you do get by a factor of five to bring it up to its pre stock-split level. I am also expecting for dividends and profits to go ballistic soon, projected 3.4ML$ this month, and that isn't even with the jewel of the breedables crown at play :) If the criteria was owning at least 0.1% (which I think equals about $70?) or something then it might be workable, and would create some big demand for shares to boot. This would mean out of the many thousands of players only around 250 people currently would qualify for any discount based on how many shares are actually available to be bought and collected, I would think it would create huge demand for shares since you would also get dividends too lol I am just brainstorming here; in no way either endorsing your idea, trying to kill it or stealing it for my own lol Also, wouldn't ADS have to be linked to this site in order to verify share ownership, and how would we get around the issue of people passing shares back and forth simply to take advantage of the system? |

| Heya Sparhawke, You have a good point in wich shareholders get an discount. Personaly i think shareholders with more than 100.000 shares and at least 6 months owning them would get an discount. But lets see what more ideas other come up with. Kind regards Luska. |

| Skip would have to consider the rules regarding this before we even looked at it. Our share price is supposed to be a true reflection of the value of an investment. If shares are being bought for some other reason then that distorts the price discovery mechanism. I don't consider that dividends are particularly lowered. Our company is growing at a rapid rate and new products are released regularly. I am a top shareholder myself and I don't need to get farm discounts to motivate me to hold ADS shares. In fact recently I've been buying more. |

Re: shareholders | |
| Amy: Offering discounts on products and services is not only allowed under our rules, but strongly encouraged. I know of a few companies that do this already. Only offering direct Linden discounts on IPO or SPO stock purchases are not allowed. Examples: ALLOWED: Shareholders get a 10% discount on our products if they buy our stock. NOT ALLOWED: Shareholders get a 10% "stock bonus" when buying an IPO or SPO, or receive 10% back in Lindens. (EXCEPTION - The stock bonus comes from Owner Shares that a CEO pays to unlock). Hope that helps! Skip |

Re: shareholders | |
| Cash: Discounts have value to those who invest because it could entice more people to invest in that particular stock - helping all investors move the price higher and create more trading volume. Also, it could create more revenue for the company, which in turn creates more profit, and higher dividends. Always have to connect the dots :-) Skip |

Re: shareholders | |
| Haya Amy, I think you missing the point here. I am not out on getting high discounts for farms etc… but i would be nice if you did something extra for the shareholders.Just to give them a feeling that they are special to ADS. Shareholders did it by buying shares at the IPO and SPO. @Skip..Good spoken !! Kind regards Luska. |

Re: shareholders | |
| I am with Cash on this. It does little for my shareholders, who have an indirect ADS interest through holding AMF shares. ADS products are already competetively priced, these perks will erode profits and may become a burden for the company. Troy |

Re: shareholders | |
| Better focus on getting that wormprice back up cause at 0.35/worm it is not attractive to farm them or in other words to buy more farms. I see that there is already some potionrecipes that need worms to craft them, at least that's a start but with little impact. ADS needs another game alike fishing that consumes plenty worms, or allow for multiple hooks on the rod but don't think landowners like to pay twice as much. Another idea could be to allow small worms to be transformed into a lesser amount tasty or enchanted worms. | ||
