Update | |
| SLR activities are going well. We have had great upsurge in traffic and a lot greater user participation on the site - a good thing. We have switched to the same AdSense account that CapEx uses, so I am unable to report or assess revenue in that regard at this time. Given the trend I saw in August, September, and October though I have very high hopes. Last Saturday I promised a dividend and buyback today that I am having to postpone at this time - I have been extremely busy today with SLR work and RL things and had no time to post an announcement before now. Arb and I discussed last week hiring a contractor to do a web template redesign or seeking a "prefab" upscale web template to purchase, so I would like to see if we really are going to go through with this or hold off... and how much, if anything, said projects will cost us... before issuing further dividends. I am assuming this would be a big expense if contracted out, but nothing is final right now. I am still looking into some existing more economical template options as well. I promise to pick up the schedule that I had promised for today as soon as I can or as soon as I know something. I will keep you updated. I apologize for the turnaround but at this time we need to wait and see what - if anything - we are going to do in regard to this. SLR remains backed by good cash reserves and has grown more in the past two weeks than in the month prior to that. I am more excited about SLR progress right now than I have been in quite some time... but for now just hang in there and I will let you know something as soon as I do. Thanks, Xavier |

| Hmmmmmm...wait and see? I guess we all got our answer, with your announcement of resignation. "more excited about SLR progress right now....." Too bad that excitement didn't last....or were you just excited to leave? My favorite line of that passage..... "...but for now just hang in there and I will let you know something as soon as I do." HAR DE HAR HAR......just hang in there......what a load of crap. Fact is, you were planning this from a while ago. I guess everything a CEO says has to be taking with 5 pounds of salt. Thanks. Thanks alot. |

Re: Update | |
| Well investors nows the time to snap up those shares... Looks like whoever dumped them did not like the news. Shame, as it is your loss. |

| James, Yes... I have been planning this for a very long time. This is well known at this exchange. You need to do your research before making such claims. http://slcapex.com/home/story/SLR/166 Where is your due diligence? I have to say from a CEO point of view, an exchange administrator point of view, and a reporter point of view... the whiney uneducated investor syndrome seems to grow exponentially with every "grown-up" announcement that is posted. I have stayed here well beyond what I planned. Like it or not, staffing changes happen. Remember I am not the owner of this company. Xavier |

Re: Update | |
| Xavier, Sadly we have known you would be leaving eventially. Seems like the lead time you have given is well sufficient. My question is what is the situation with Strange Ranger. He has fallen off the top shareholder list and you didn't mention him in the positive outlook for the future of SLR. I had thought in the past he was part of the bright future. Any comment on his current and future status regarding SLR? |

| Sando, Well I have to confess that Strange resigned SLR as official General Manager yesterday, in an unfortunate misunderstanding (unrelated to this) which we have since resolved. You can check out http://sl.webfeedcentral.com/ for the details. He is still sticking around hosting the website and helping with those things... and who knows what the future holds? He has RL events going on right now and might be back for a bigger and better position before we know it. As you can probably guess, the majority of current trading volume in the company is from what seems to have been him selling off his 400k+ shares this morning in one or more large chunks. I cannot say that I totally agree with the large sale all at once. Truth be known, though, is that I gave him the shares because he 100% deserved the income they apparently brought him. That being said, I *did* tell him that once he left the company those shares were unlocked and his to do with as he pleased... I just should have been more clear on selling them. Another misunderstanding. I should disclose however that this was not a case of insider trading. Strange Ranger did proof and review my announcement before I posted it, but as of the time I went to bed he had not sold a single share. I appreciate the honesty to the other shareholders in waiting for the market to absorb information he already knew in advance before he commenced his own trading. Considering Strange and I have never had a cross word with one another in 8+ months, I guess two misunderstandings in one day when we were both frustrated and tired was to be expected. In any event I don't see how any of these things - which are now over and passed - could possibly affect business as usual, given the 3 to 4 hour conversation Strange and I had last night... err... early this morning I mean. | Xavier, I, too, will miss your stewardship as an Executive and as a writer... hopefully your increased freedom will give you the opportunity to write periodically with even MORE wit ;) Your recent Intlibber article clearly demonstrates that you've had an uncanny ability to look past differences of opinion and grievances - Lord knows you and I certainly had several early on. Regardless, you've become a trusted source for NEWS and EDITORIAL OPINION - personally, I hope you can find time to continue contributing in that regard. As to the future prospects of SLR, we both know that there are several great writers in and around our SL CapEx neighborhood - perhaps a candidate like Guardian Market would consider carrying the torch forward as the new SLR CEO. I'm confident you and Arbitrage will recruit an awesome replacement. In the interim, I'm sure longterm holders of SLR Stock, (myself, Sando, Arbitrage and others) will continue to HOLD as the next chapter begins to develop. Best wishes and good luck! Bo |
