MLS Posts Dividend to Shareholders

The Month of June has been 'eventful'. Whereas I now have more time available, having time available in the Summer period means an increase in expenditure for development of the business. The problem here is that the so called 'Summer Slump' will no doubt have a double hit on the financials with a reduction in sales. This period is most definately a test of structure and stability for MiLOS. The revenue generated in June should not be as low as it is, however this is the case due to a reduction in classified advertising for a period of two weeks.

WHATS BEEN GOING ON DURING JUNE?
A contract was approved with a marketing strategy organisation. The MiLOS marketing methods are of key importance and having a professional team in place to provide consultancy is a huge positive. This cost will be integrated into the marketing column to which this amount is spread over 3 months.

A decision was made to make better use of the spare land that we have on the MiLOS main store sim. In addition to the VBL headquarters a rental store setup has been established with a beach themed sim. We currently have 7 x 100 prim stores setup in addition to 3 x 25 prim stalls. There are also several games and activities to take part in at the MiLOS HQ Stores.
The aim of these rental stores is simple, to reduce the expense of the open sim monthly tier.

DEVELOPMENTS FOR THE FUTURE?
A new 'Original Store' has been custom designed, will a similar 'feel' to the main store. This build is in its initial stages, and should replace the existing 'Original Store' during July.

Normally I have the motto 'Why do an average piece of work on something when you can pay a professional to do a better piece. However, with regards to product posters, I have spent a bit of time having a go at it myself and the feedback has been fairly good. In 'doing it yourself' MiLOS can save a considerable amount in product poster fees.

It is only a small sideline project but I am looking at possibilities of developing the MiLOS Designs product range in RL. Last week I received a t-shirt which enabled me to grasp a sense of the quality of such a product. The aim is to assess whether there is a consistent number of customers who would be interested in buying a RL MiLOS Designs product.

I would like to announce the appointment of Steve Ellsmere onto the MiLOS Designs team. Steve has showed his ability to work well in business and has a strong drive in 'making things happen'. Steve has been assigned the role of land manager for a portion of the Villota Sim. His role will be to keep the rental stores filled and in keeping the sim looking 'attractive'.

DIVIDENDS?
Net Income applicable to shareholders this month are (12,439.48).
MiLOS does have a reserve for times like these. I have chosen to reduce the dividend this month as I would like to retain as much as possible, although I do want to continue to provide a consistent dividend.

Dividends of 0.5 cents per share will be paid shortly.
