SLG: NEW DIVIDEND POLICY-Proposals updated
Dear shareholders,After major changes to SLG mode of operation, i think now its time for us to revisit the dividend policy. As from now we will have two streams of income one from dividends received and other from currency trading, There are few proposals for Dividend payments
All the dividends received from companies invested will form pool A. Proceeds received from L$ trading will form pool B.
PROPOSAL - A
Since we are in transition phase SLG board wants to convert 100% of the profit earned from the SLG shareholding to be used for L$ trading with no dividend payment. The purpose of doing this is, currently we have a strong income stream from POOL A and a weak stream from POOL B due to less funds allocated and nature of business. By channeling 100% percent of profits from POOL A to L$ trading we expect to have strong income streams from both the POOLS after which we can resume the dividend payment after decision from the board.
This way going forward we will see
Very quick turn around to increase the SLG NAV to a very high value and considerable revenue earning streams and lots of diversification.
PROPOSAL - B
POOL-A (subject to dividends to be received from companies invested)
Weekly dividend of 0.0025L$/share . We will try to maintain atleast one month worth of dividend payments in cash as buffer. Any dividends received in excess of one month buffer will be transferred to L$ trading. During any period of time if we exhaust the funds to pay weekly dividends due to delay in incoming dividends weekly dividends will be stopped till incoming dividends are paid and resumed later
POOL-B (Subjects to profit earned via L$ trading)
A monthly dividend of profit earned is paid a the end of every month after the CEO fees of 10% of profit earned.
This way going forward we will see
1) Weekly dividend (May increase or decrease based on performance of the investments made)
2) Monthly dividend (which will increase fueled by the excess incoming dividend from SLG investments as of now. But in case there is no excess funds this will remain more of less constant over months)
Please let me know your thoughts and modifications on the above plan. Once we hear shareholders concerns if any i put a formal voting on final dividend proposal
Regards
Pradeep
