Greetings from the world beyond the grid! Bogart Beck here... and there.

I thought it important to draft a brief message to let you all know that even though current RL activities are preventing me from participating in SL and CapEx as actively as I have in the past, the rumors that I have expired, retired or otherwise vaporized are entirely false ;-) We are alive and very well! The fact of the matter is, however, that I will NOT likely be able to resume gameplay within SL or CapEx in any significant capacity until late September or perhaps even early October.

My wfe and I are building a new house this summer - a task that has taken on a life of its own and has essentially become a full-time secondary occupation for the time being - we hope to have an occupancy certificate by October 1. That endeavor, when combined with increased responsibilities in my RL Job, as well as my church and our soccer club just leave no time for SL until the fall.

Just so that all interested parties are crystal clear: I have NO INTENT to liquiidate ANY positions in ANY of the securities I hold either directly or indirectly on CapEx. I'd also like to make it clear that I do indeed touch base with Scott, Chan and Cash on a regular basis though not daily with regard to activities on CAPEX.

For the Record, I am FULLY IN SUPPORT of Cash Yiyuan's appointment today to CEO of CAPEX and am confident of his abilities and understanding of the responsibilities therewith. Given Scott's, Chan's and my own scheduling conflicts this summer Cash is truly the CapEx Officer in the best position timewise to man the helm. I ask that you all likewise support him fully - it is a HUGE job.

With regard to the Bogart Beck controlled entities; (BAY, BIG, BTX and SLR), I MAY be able to post Q2/2009 Financials some time this holiday weekend and will provide some direction regarding each of them at that time.

In closing for now, I do want to provide some cautionary guidance to my SL freinds and compatriots, as follows; as you each have observed, there have been a few new and somewhat novel ideas floating around the Exchanges the past few months... some have merit, many (MOST) aren't worth the bits nor the time consumed in touting them.

My recommendation for now ? If you don't personally KNOW the purveyor, AND/OR, if you don't FULLY and COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND the offering then DON'T put one red Linden Cent into the venture PERIOD. Caveat Emptor.
