Tentative Agreement Reached With New Programmer

Dear Capital Exchange Members:

I know that since last summer I have promised you software upgrades, bug fixes and new features at Capital Exchange. Since that time our current programmer Hamncheese Omlet got a new job in rl that takes up a vast majority of his time, and was unable to continue in the capacity of full-time programmer for the exchange. Since then, I have conducted an exhaustive search to find a new programmer that is local/regional to me, that I can trust, and that can perform all the needed upgrades and fixes to make the Capital Exchange software the best it can be.

After many offers from people to assist that unfortunately didn't work out, I'm thrilled to announce that I have come to a tentative agreement with Kristoffer Juneau to be our new programmer. Hamncheese Omlet will stay on to help in emergencies and work with Kristoffer Juneau during the transition, and I'm grateful for that. Kristoffer is an experienced rl programmer that knows PHP, and luckily he also knows Second Life extremely well and is willing to help us out.

It's my plan to first fix some of the bugs that are giving us wrong information displayed in some deactivated features, and then work on some cosmetic changes to the website with new features added. After that, I plan on seriously upgrading the software and adding advanced features like stock options, selling short, and a host of other additions for the serious trader. You can also look forward to a tutorial section, financial reporting section, new forums, and many other great changes in the future.

I will give you all an update in the next few weeks on the progress of it all. My personal thanks to Kristoffer Juneau for agreeing to be a part of the team at Capital Exchange.
