To our customers and our shareholders, thank you for placing your trust in ICE. Formerly ISE we are the oldest exchange in Second Life. Our financial track record can be documented all the way back to April 2007. ISE has a well published and long history of paying a monthly dividend since May 2007.
Even with our age, ICE is ready for the next new phase: Currency trading! We are glad to partner with SkipOceanlane and the SLCAPEX to list our shares which have first been available since April 2007 at ISE. With our listing of ICE on SLCAPEX we are providing a platform for our shareholders that fits our world class company.
It is my belief that the move to SLCAPEX will bring value to all of our current shareholders. The move will also bring exposure to a new client base that have not experienced the stength and integrity of ICE.
I look forward to serving you as the CEO of ICE and watching our progress as measured by the investors at SLCAPEX.
SLICE (Symbol ICE) operates to facilitate currency simulations with "virtual currencies" operating in 3D virtual invironments. We currently present this opportunity for educational and fictional purposes as a simulation and to provide a place to hedge or trade (Buy and Sell) these limited license "currencies" which belong to third party entertainment web sites such as Second Life.
SLICE is not associated with Linden Labs or Second Life and stands on it's own. It's partnership with SLCAPEX and it's activity of trading Lindens through Second Life is participating voluntarily. Arbi Tomsen, has made a considerable investment in real dollar terms and is commited to providing you a great place to do business. Profits and or losses are represented in Linden Dollars in the financial statements.
This "currency exchange" should not be considered an investment in real world terms and should not be represented as such by gamers or "investors" that interact with ICE or SLCAPEX.
We exist to expand our ability to create virtual wealth as expressed in limited license currencies issued by games and web sites that provide entertainment value. ICE makes no warranty or guarantee that any of the virtual currencies traded or owned will have a market for resale or purchase in the future.
Traders, depositors, investors and partners should keep in mind that they trade at their own risk. Any loses or gains associated with trading on ICE or trading ICE shares should be considered a part of this virtual game and will be your own responsibility. Buyer Beware!
-Proven track record.
-Specialized knowledge of currencies and markets; virtual and real.
-Experienced investor in SL and RL markets.
Use Of Capital
ICE is not raising capital. We are honoring a commitment by the original founder (Cocky Dagger) in providing you, the shareholder a place to trade and realize value in your original investment. We seek to do this by providing consistent dividends in virtual currency and by honoring your ownership priviledges in a virtual company by buying shares back at regular intervals, by providing buy backs, dividends and the commitment to providing a real service (buying and selling Lindens and other virtual currencies) in a virtual environment.
The strategy of ICE is to create virtual wealth for each of it's shareholders and to provide a safe place to deposit Lindens.
We recognize that your involvement with Virtual Worlds include significant risk to you as you invest considerable time and money to accumulate virtual currency. One of the risks associated with playing in virtual worlds is limited ability to sell your virtual currency. While you may be waiting for time limits on your ability to sell virtual currency, the policies of the game or virtual economic environment may change causing you a considerable loss in value of the virtual currency in relation to the currency of your own country.
Therefore, we aim to provide a place to park your virtual currencies while limiting exposure to currency fluctuations of real currencies vs the value of the virtual currency. We will accomplish this task by providing simulated safe havens that will fluctuate in a free market environment while also providing our customers a place to buy and sell their virtual currencies. We will take our profits (if any) or losses in virtual currency and provide a return to our virtual shareholders in limited license virtual currency.
We seek to limit our expenses and increase our revenue over and above these expenses so as to make it worth the time and effort our investors put into this simulation.
We share your desire to increase your holdings of simulated virtual currencies and hope we can provide you an avenue to increase your virtual wealth.
The risks associated with buying virtual currencies and virtual shares in a virtual company is considerable. One should not enter into such an environment with the expectation that they will make a profit. The games which offer these currencies could close down without notice. The people who are trusted to secure your virtual currencies could (based on past experience) simply take your virtual currency or shares and vanish. Computer malfunctions could erase your shares, or currencies. Fraud committed by other parties could expose you to the loss of your own virtual wealth as games seek to recoup losses.
Data interruptions could provide false information that you then rely upon to buy or sell. ATM machines could be hacked and compromised by those seeking to take your virtual stake. Your passwords could be compromised by keylogger viruses or hackers on your own personal computers and your account could be drained of shares or virtual money.
In no way do we warranty or guarantee against such hazards. The participants in this simulation are solely responsible for their own security and their own investment of time and virtual goods or currencies. Buyer beware and play at your own risk!
The management of ICE will be provided by avatar Arbi Tomsen as CEO, Cocky Dagger as President, and Ciobahn Flanagan as Secretary, Sheridan Dagger as Vice President.
